Scavengers needed on Saturday, October 1
The Newbury Elementary School PTA is looking for teams to compete in the second annual Downtown Newburyport Scavenger Hunt. On Saturday, Oct. 1, 5:30-11 pm, teams of 2-6 people will set out from Nicholson Hall to scavenge the town to collect memorabilia, identify landmarks, and answer downtown trivia questions. There will be wine tasting, nibbles, and surprises along the way as many stores remain open late.
Upon completion of the scavenger hunt participants will return to Nicholson Hall with their completed scavenger hunt forms and collected items to enjoy appetizers, a cash bar, great music, raffles, a silent auction, and fabulous prizes for the winning team.
