7th Annual Sand & Sea Festival: Saturday and Sunday, June 29-30, 2013

The Sand & Sea Festival held every year the last weekend in June, provides family fun for all ages with crafters and food vendors, live entertainment, kids’ activities, the ever-popular Beach Pizza Eating contest, Pet Parade and much more! Saturday night features a free outdoor concert by Entrain followed by spectacular fireworks.

New this year: 3D Chalk Artist Anthony Cappetto!
Anthony will spend 3 days creating an amazing work that invites audience participation! His finished artwork will be on display throughout the weekend. Come and take pictures of your friends and children interacting with his amazing work! Find out more about Anthony at artforafterhours.com

And for Local Artists, the popular Street Art Festival is back again!
Local artists will create works of art all day Saturday along the Beach Center sidewalks.

Call for Artists! Street Art Competition with Great Prizes!
We are inviting you to join other artists to create your work in chalk on the sidewalks of Salisbury Beach. We provide the space, chalk and other materials, you provide the talent!

Categories & Prizes:
Professional Artist
Best in show: $500 cash prize, plus a 30-day solo exhibit at the Pavillion Lobby
1st Runner Up: $250 cash prize
2nd Runner Up: $100 cash prize
Amateur Artist (ages 14 & up, individual or team*)
Best in Show: $250 in prizes and gift certificates
1st Runner Up: $100 in prizes and gift certificates

Young Artist
$100 in prizes and gift certificates
*Teams are encouraged. Schools, organizations, families; join in the FUN and show your SPIRIT at this community event!

We are also offering space for Art Vendors. The cost is $50 for the two days but FREE if you also participate in the Street Art Competition.
