"Peggy's House" photography by Robert Loren Lerch

     The exhibit presents the life of an old house through vignettes of interior details, images that convey a sense of time, and of many lifetimes. The wood is worn with repeated use but is carefully painted; a door stands ajar tempting the viewer to enter a room; a hallway appears as a passageway through decades. Eastern Massachusetts is a treasure trove of houses from the 17th through the 21st centuries and this exhibit should engage many old house owners and admirers.
     The artist’s reception is scheduled for Sunday, August 18 from 3:30 – 5:30 PM in the Art Gallery at Firehouse Center for the Arts.
