Go for the Gold Golf Tournament with Celebrity Speaker Don Wade
The 3rd Annual Go for the Gold Golf Tournament is sponsored by the Friends of the Newbury Council on Aging, which is a private nonprofit 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. Our sole purpose is to raise money to supplement the programs and services of the Newbury Council on Aging, including fueling and maintaining the handicapped accessible van.
Legendary golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. blended the perfect amount of challenge and pleasure into this 18-hole championship layout. The course was masterfully planned to provide players of all levels with an endless variety of shot-making situations. Few Ipswich golf courses match the beauty and challenge of this incredible course.
We invite golfers of all levels to take advantage of this opportunity to play at the private course at the Ipswich Country Club. Amateur golfers are eligible for a $10,000 Hole-In-One prize.
We also welcome guests who would like to join us for a networking lunch, a silent auction, and our celebrity guest speaker Don Wade at 12:30 PM.
If you would like to register for the tournament or luncheon, or to contribute an item for the silent auction, please contact Martie Joe, DIrector of the Newbury Council on Aging, at (978) 462-8114, or send an email to info@friendsofnewburycoa.org.
