Fall Feast Wine Dinner at Loretta Restaurant
Join Us for a Four-Course Fall Feast, featuring Colorado Rack of Lamb
Loretta, a casual American bistro, will host a special Wine Dinner on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m.The four course menu will feature: Yukon Gold Potato Spring Roll, fried golden brown and topped with Crème Fraiche, Ossetra Caviar and Chive; seared Hudson Valley Foie Gras with poached Cherries, Brioche, Mache Greens, and Cherry Gastrique; pan roasted Colorado Rack of Lamb with Fennel Slaw Salad, Truffled Brillat-Savarin Cheese Grits and natural joux; and Chocolate Soufflé with Whiskey Praline sauce and candied Orange Pecans, all paired with wines to complement the complex flavors of each dish.
For vegetarians, there is an alternate main course of Chanterelle Mushroom Risotto with roasted Mission Figs and aged Gruyere.
“We welcome this chance to feature an upscale menu that is distinctive from our usual repertoire. The domestically raised Colorado lamb has a more mild and savory flavor than New Zealand lamb. Because domestic lamb is fed a special diet and there are not many large-scale livestock ranches in the U.S., this high-quality meat is not often found around here. Chef Kip Wilson has created a multi-course meal that will please discerning palates at a great value, which is what we like to do,” said Ted Epstein, owner of Loretta.
The prix fixe meal is $65 per person (or $55 for the vegetarian alternative). Please call for reservations at 978-463-0000 as space is limited for this event.
