– Essex National Heritage Commission, a not-for-profit that manages and provides numerous programs promoting Essex County’s historic and recreational heritage, will award 15 partnership grants at the Commission’s Spring Meeting to be held on April 30 from 8:00 to 10:00 am at Gordon College in Wenham. The event is free and open to the public.
New Commissioners to be Elected, Major Initiatives Presented
At the spring meeting, eleven new Essex Heritage Commissioners will be elected. Commissioners represent business and non-profit leaders who work collectively with Essex Heritage to further projects of regional importance.
In addition, some major initiatives will be presented including the Essex Coastal Scenic Byway, the 13th annual Trails & Sails, and Essex Heritage’s youth summer jobs programs.
