Business Educational Seminar - Data Security Law Update

The law requires ALL Massachusetts companies to implement a Data Security Plan.  This law went into effect on March 1, 2010.  Are you in compliance yet?  Bring your questions or concerns about how to get there or just get a check-up on how you are doing so far if you have implemeted a plan.

The MA Data Security Law requires ALL companies – large or small – holding in any form: a MA citizen’s name combined with any one of the following: credit card number, social security number, driver’s license number/state issued ID, OR financial information/account number to protect it according to stringent laws.

The state of MA can issue substantial financial penalties for non –compliance. Whether you are a business of 1 or 1,000 you should be aware of this!
