We’ll celebrate nature’s launch into spring with our 4th Annual BOAT CAMP Nature School Bash on Friday evening, January 31, 2014, at the Black Cow Tap & Grill on the Newburyport waterfront. If you’d like to donate an auction item, please email us, explore@boatcamp.org.
The first week of February marks half-way between winter solstice and vernal equinox. Near what we know as Groundhog Day, the animals we love to see in summer will start migrating home to Newburyport. Striped bass, mackerel, whales, tuna, butterflies, songbirds and shorebirds will take flight and ride ocean or air currents, their destination long ago predetermined and their journey much anticipated.
This is our major annual fundraiser to benefit BOAT CAMP Nature School’s nature education programs, and you’re invited to celebrate with us!
